ACTHU is a volunteer-driven, non profit, apolitical organization that advocates for the right to health as a human right, emphasizing on patient safety and reduction of inequalities in access to health care services in Cameroon.

ACTHU is composed of patients, non patients and health professionals.

ACTHU is an associate member of the International Alliance of Patients' Organizations (Iapo) and a founding member of the Africa network of patients' organizations.

ACTHU is awareness raising,  capacity building, assistance and lobbying for the general interest.
